People don’t normally talk about charity when they go on holiday, but I started to tell him about Daft As A Brush because it’s such an amazing concept.

When I went home, I started wondering if he would be able to get a signed photo of Sir Cliff for the charity. I asked one of my friends about it and she said it would be OK to ask him.

And then he presented me with this picture and I just couldn’t believe it. I was absolutely blown away.

I couldn’t wait to get back and show Brian.”

Haigh-Smith said: "I just consideration maybe it was because we had commented that we hoped our hordes would be safe over Christmas. We’ve also played the Cliff Richard version of 'Hallelujah', but we would never dream of running down any religions."

The website was hacked into on January 5 and on January 7 by extremists asserting to work on behalf of Ahmed Al-Qahtani, who is supposed to have been concerned in the attacks in the US on September 11, 2001.
